The Lord's Supper

20When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat. 1 Corinthians 11:20

When the Lord Jesus, as the Son of Man yet to die on the cross, shared His last supper with His disciples, a new memorial was given to God's people.

This Supper is multi-faceted, and holds many blessings and much knowledge for the people of Yahweh.

It is possible, as we see above from Paul's letter to the Corinthian Assembly, to gather together but not actually eat the Lord's Supper.

Therefore it is important to understand what the Supper is, so that we may truly participate in it and experience all that the Lord has for us.

    The Lord's Supper is a calling to mind of the Lord Jesus; even more so, the remembrance itself requires the presence of the Lord for it to be true. The remaining or abiding of the Lord is accomplished as we eat the bread and drink the cup, as Christ promised.

    True satisfaction comes from consuming the Food of God, and not the food of the world.
  • Recognition from the Breaking of the Bread
    Our eyes can be opened up, and we may fully recognize Christ, when the bread of His Supper is broken before us.
  • The True Food & the True Drink
    Christ's flesh and blood are the True Food and Drink!
