Sin & Forgiveness
God tells us that sin is only charged where there is law, that knowledge of sin comes through the Law, and without Law there is no disobedience.
15For the law produces wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience. Romans 4:15
13For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged when there is no law. Romans 5:13
Forgiveness of Sin
Sin's power is the Law.
56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 1 Corinthians 15:56
The Law works to impute sin to people's accounts according to their actions.
However, God has provided ways to cover as well as remove this imputed sin. As time has progressed, so has He offered solutions to the problem of sin.
Ultimately, sin has met its match in the Person of God's own Son, Jesus the Messiah. This section will look at the full scope of that as well.
