Miraculous Internal Healing
To make a long story short... I was kicked very hard by a horse in the midsection, completely knocking the wind out of me, and throwing me into the side of a barn. I have been around horses for over nine years, so this was a freak accident. God gave me no warning ahead of time, so when it happened I came to the point of realizing whether or not I was ready to die.
Through it, Yahweh showed me that I was indeed ready to die, but not unless my purpose for living had been accomplished. As I realized it hadn't, I called out in my spirit (as I was still unable to speak or breathe):
"Yahweh, save me!"
I was thinking of a dream about (Joel 2:32) I had a few weeks before. At just that point I began to breathe again, and I knew I would be ok—a prayer then poured out of me that this accident would somehow bring glory to Himself.
The horse kick had severely lacerated my liver and I was bleeding internally. The doctors had said I would probably need surgery. And I replied that I would have to think about that. They responded to the effect of, "well, if you need surgery, then there's nothing to think about!"
But I told them, from my heart in faith, "I have no doubt God will heal me."
The bleeding was miraculously stopped by Yahweh within two days—with me needing no pain medication the whole time! The doctors were completely surprised, and some in training did not believe I hadn't taken any pain medication. But I was praising God the whole time, for I knew I would be bringing Him glory through this story of His salvation!
In addition, my faith for Him was tried in the fire and came out purer! Glory to the Most High, for He will wholly save us!
Discerning Yahweh
We are always in the hand of God. If we love Him, He is constantly watching over us; if we are wicked before Him, He merely knows us from afar.
Those who walk with Him are said to be blind, because we do not see as the world sees. For we do not look to what appears but to what is unseen. We trust for the light that Yahweh gives.
19Who is blind, but my servant? Or who is as deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is as blind as he who is at peace, and as blind as Yahweh’s servant? Isaiah 42:19
Many times we will not expect or be ready for what happens to us in this natural world, but as we walk with Yahweh, nothing may move us.
Through this experience, I came to understand that regardless of whether I knew such a trial was coming, Yahweh would be there. I simply had to call upon Him, trusting Him in that moment as I had when I first placed my entire life in His hands by faith.
Likewise, you may learn that He is true to His promise to save and heal us according to our faith. I trusted His already revealed Word, that His Son was bruised for my sin and bore my pain and sickness—I did not need to carry it, for He did for me.
Therefore, I was able to say with confidence that I had no doubt that God would heal me. And according to His word and my my faith in Him, He did!
Discern Yahweh in this, that He is able to do all things; that He loves us and wants us to depend upon Him in all things and at all times. Although we may be caught off guard by things in life, He is never; grow in faith by learning to lean on Him in those sudden trials.
