11Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today; 12lest, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses, and lived in them; 13and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; Deuteronomy 8:11-13

17and lest you say in your heart, “My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.” 18But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today. Deuteronomy 8:17,18

Our Creator truly desires the best for us. If we know that He made us, it is not hard to believe that He is able to sustain us unto the uttermost. In His list of promises to the Israelites, if they obeyed Him and His commandments, there are many blessings dealing with their physical prosperity. Their lands will bring forth much harvest, their livestock will increase, their children will grow healthy and continue the family name—all this is promised by their God if they will only obey Him. Now that He has sent His Son as an atonement for the sins of the world, those who believe in the Lord Jesus are enabled to enter these blessings as well.

13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,” 14that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14

20For however many are the promises of God, in him is the “Yes.” Therefore also through him is the “Amen”, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20

God owns all of creation, and "the earth is Yahweh's, the world and everything dwelling in it" (Psalms 24:1). One portion of creation of interest to this study is that of money—He owns that as well;

8The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,’ says Yahweh of Armies. Haggai 2:8

Even the context of this deals with the New House that Yahweh was to build. It will have much greater glory than Solomon's or Herod's. What is one reason? Because all money belongs to God. When He establishes His new House—that is, the Body of Christ—He will bring all manner of riches into it, like He did with the first House, but to a much greater extent. Of course, this can refer to the spiritual richness of God's New House, but the plain words, "silver and gold" also show that the Father planned for His Assembly in Jesus the Christ to be rich and full of material wealth as well.

The Lord of heaven loves His children, and wants them to be totally dependent upon Him for their survival. In return for our diligent seeking of His Kingdom, He promises to give us everything else besides (Luke 12:31). It is the Father's good pleasure to give us the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). His Kingdom is not a place of lack and poverty, but a spiritual life of plenty and riches. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing, and has also promised to increase us in the natural, that we may have sufficiency for every good work.

6Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

The apostle Paul knew about God's principle of sowing and reaping. When His people gave to those in need, and supported His ministers, they could expect something in return. Yahweh continued His promises in the Old Covenant, because all of them because "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus! Therefore, when saints helped Paul with his physical needs, he could pray to God with confidence for their blessing in all things.

9As it is written, “He has scattered abroad, he has given to the poor. His righteousness remains forever.” 2 Corinthians 9:9

The wise and loving servant of God will seek the benefit of others, and not just himself. Therefore, when a minister gives into the lives of others, when he expects to receive in return, it is not only for his benefit, but for theirs as well. The mature minister of Yahweh looks for blessing upon those to whom he ministers and teaches.

17Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account. Philippians 4:17

The Good Message

As you read this site, you will hopefully come to know Yahweh more fully.

But all of this continuing knowledge is useless unless and until you come into union with Him. I use the word union because it is truly a marriage. It is that deep connection we all seek, for which we most often look in other people. However, the truth is that our hearts will only be fulfilled when we enter that union in fullness with the One Who made us.

This is the grace of God, that He has not stayed distant for us only to worship as Creator. But He has come unto us, even become one of us—in His Son, Christ Jesus—in order to share an intimate union with us. He desires such closeness that it truly will envelope our entire life, transforming us into something new and wonderful.

You may have already entered this union with Him and only seek to know Him better through reading here. But if you have not, as you do read, let this Gospel sink into your heart as you read it now.

God loves you, and has cast your sins into the sea. He has sent His only Son as the Savior of the world—that includes you.

That Son, Jesus Christ, was born as a man through a virgin who had given her life to Yahweh; He lived without sin, reflected the glory of His Father, God, in all His words and deeds, and was persecuted even unto death because of it.

His death upon a cross was the powerful explosion that separated you from your life of death. It remains for you, now, to enter into that death with Him. As you die to the one you are now, a person separated from God from your many sins, you will be born anew, with a nature predisposed to live rightly. This gift is free to you, with nothing you can do to earn it. It is the mercy of God to offer it to you, as He loves you so much! All you must do is receive it by trusting Him to have delivered you. Simply place your life in His hands and embrace the freedom that came through that death on the cross.

The Gospel is that Jesus did not remain dead, but rose again on the third day after His crucifixion! Death could not hold Him, as He was without sin. And so death will not be able to hold you, as you identify with Him fully through your trust in Him. Let go of yourself and confess Him as Lord of your life. The power of His death and resurrection will work in you all that your Creator has destined for you. You will truly enter a new life and experience that intimate union you have been seeking all of your life.

So ponder these words as you read here of this great God—Yahweh—and all that He has revealed to His creation. Let His Spirit testify to your heart that these words are true, that God is Love, and that He sent His Son so that you might receive the life that is unbound by time and space. As you feel that witness in your heart, simply believe and receive what He is offering to you, even now, and begin your new life as a child of God.
