God's Form
God gave me this word during my assembly's morning worship service.
"I commanded Moses to write in My Holy Law, for the sons of Israel, that they should not make themselves any idols. When I descended upon the mountain, they saw no manner of form. I have no form, therefore I commanded them not to make any images of Me, not of male nor female, nor animal, nor bird, nor anything in the heavens, upon the earth, or in the sea. I have made all these things. To what then will you liken Me? I am like none of them, but I am becoming all things for you. You must not think of Me resembling anything in creation, for I am like nothing in it. Yet, I become all things for you; and whatever you need of Me, I will be. Therefore, be careful not to make any images of Me, nor to think of Me resembling anything in creation, for I have no form; yet I become whatever you need."
12Yahweh spoke to you out of the middle of the fire: you heard the voice of words, but you saw no form; you only heard a voice. Deuteronomy 4:12
15Be very careful, for you saw no kind of form on the day that Yahweh spoke to you in Horeb out of the middle of the fire, 16lest you corrupt yourselves, and make yourself a carved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, 17the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky, 18the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth; 19and lest you lift up your eyes to the sky, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, even all the army of the sky, you are drawn away and worship them, and serve them, which Yahweh your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole sky. 20But Yahweh has taken you, and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as it is today. Deuteronomy 4:15-20
21Because, knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. Romans 1:21-23
29Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man. 30The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, 31because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead.” Acts 17:29-31
Discerning Yahweh
Yahweh is not like anything that is made, so we must not think of Him like these things.
He has no form, but becomes all that we need.
This reveals that He is high above all that we know in this creation—however, He does not remain distant and unknown, but comes to us, giving us insight into His nature by the things He has made.
