Coming Trials & the Peace of God
Only a few days after the attacks on America, I had a dream concerning the situation. The night before Sept. 11, I bore a tremendous prayer burden—for what, I didn't know. I kept feeling that I should spend the night in prayer. But after battling with my flesh, I finally prayed for over an hour in the Spirit before falling asleep, some six or so hours before the attack actually happened. I don't know what God prevented through His Spirit's intercession in me, but I praise Him for the grace He shows us!
A few days later, I had a dream. I pray it will be a source of encouragement to you, as we continue through these troublesome times, which will continue to get worse.
I was behind my house with my mom, and we both saw and heard fighter planes overheard. As I expected, bombs began to drop nearby, and we could hear and feel their explosions. Shortly thereafter, biological and chemical weapons began to hit the ground, including in our backyard. They affected the skin, making it super-sensitive, but also tainted the water so that if a person attempted to rinse it off, the tainted water would react even more with the infection, creating horrible results.
I went around to the front of our house, thinking of how we could get away—I began to calculate how fast car could go, and perhaps we could outrun them. As I thought this, I decided I should go into the house to get our pets before we left everything behind.
After coming in the front door, there appeared a very tall person. I knew it wasn't human, even though it had human features—I knew it was an evil spirit, a wicked principality of some type. I wished to begin rebuking it, but my mouth wouldn't open. Its eyes filled with joy and pride as it was somehow causing this. However, as I spoke rebukes in my spirit, suddenly my mouth opened as well and I began to come against it. I said, among other things, "I command you to bow before me in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of Yahweh." The main point of my rebukes was that this being should bow before me as a sign that I had authority over it in the name of my Lord. After increasing looks of pain on its face, the being slowly bowed before me.
Next the dream's scene changed to include a horse in our foyer. My dad was trying to keep it under control, but it was thrashing around in fear. No matter what we did, it would continue to jump around and stand up and down. In the process, it bit me once on the arm. I ask my parents how bad it is, and I see it's very bloody and mangled. My mother gives me something to put on it. I then feel my leg stinging too. The same sab is put on that cut, which is very bad as well, with them looking at me in wonder as to how I could have been attacked twice.
I'm starting to feel like I'm being barraged from every side, and seeing how bad my cuts are, am thinking that now I'll have scars for life and things will never be the same. Suddenly, I realize this is all the work of the Devil and remember the verse in I Peter chapter 4, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you..." and "that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22). With this remembrance, I begin praising God, realizing that none of this fleshly stuff matters, because God is in control, and even if I die, I will be with Him. Great peace comes over me and I can tell my parents don't understand how I feel, but now I am at peace, trusting completely in God.
Beloved, I ask our Father to confirm this word He sent to me, to you as well, that you might enter the peace of complete trust in God. There are many symbols in this dream which I know the Holy Spirit will open to your spiritual eyes, if you ask, that you might digest and be built up from the Word of the Lord.
When we face difficulties in the flesh, when our earthly lives are shaken, we must quickly look to the supernatural. We must not respond in the flesh; we must not try to make provision for the flesh. We must exert our authority as believers in the Most High and take dominion over the spirits of wickedness behind the destruction.
We must understand that God is always with us. If we are His children, tribulations come to purify our faith—they build us up as His sons and daughters. They are ultimately for our good, and not for evil!
We must not worry whether the wounds we receive as we battle evil will remain with us. The Lord Jesus will bind up our wounds, He will give us clothing for our nakedness, and salve for our eyes. His Spirit will bring to remembrance all of His words, and will bring us peace.
Surely there are troublesome times coming ahead, both for America and for Israel—as a prophet of Yahweh, you can trust that word and take action based upon its relevance. The children of Satan will do his works; they will steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). And they especially will do so toward the children of God.
The Gospel is that Yahweh's Grace in Christ is sufficient for all of our trials and tribulations. When we are weak, He is strong! When we are hurt, He is our healing! He may give us tests to purify our faith, but He knows what we can handle, and gives us no more. Therefore, be bold in the face of adversity, knowing that the power in you knows no match.
Make this your daily meditation—when you are empty in your own self, you are free to receive God's filling. No matter what the quality or area of life, if you will empty yourself, or be emptied, of what we as humans consider "good" qualities, and ask the Lord to fill you with His replacements, you will enter the Peace of which I speak. Do you understand that? When we divest ourselves of the flesh, He will become our clothing!
Give up your wisdom, and ask for His instead. Give up your love, and ask for His instead. Lay down your confidence, and ask for His instead. Empty out your own strength and power, and ask for His instead!
Praise the Lord Yahweh, may His Spirit place that truth into your spirit, that it will bring forth great fruit for His Kingdom! The peace of Jesus Christ be with you now, and forever!
